What’s the role?

We are seeking a talented Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic Southern Procurement team.  As a Procurement Specialist you will work with our education sector client  based in South West Wales to achieve public sector procurement excellence. You will manage the clients’ tendering and contract requirements, provide sound procurement advice and excellent customer service. You will be an organised individual who can deliver our services with a smile.


Reporting to the Procurement Manager you will be responsible for leading the tendering process for a variety of expense categories, projects and services. You will help our clients to meet the requirements of PCR 2015 and their own internal regulations. You will work with the client’s stakeholders to draft tender packs to ensure contracts placed achieve value for money, cost savings, where available, and improved service levels.

Job requirements

What we are looking for

  • Great experience within procurement, including some experience of managing tendering processes in a public sector setting and meeting UK regulations for public sector procurement.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work accurately to deadlines.
  • Passion, an individual dedicated to providing the best service possible for our clients.
  • CIPS membership is desirable but candidates working towards CIPS or those that can demonstrate suitable alternative qualifications and/or experience will be considered.
  • Candidates who are based in South West Wales and willing to travel to the client once a week.
